Elysium Gathering Feb 18th 2023

Below are the edicts of Prince Ujio Tanaka made within the Elysium gathering.

1. A change of the seasons was made, removing all individuals from their currently held positions. Within this call Leliel Lehner was returned to the position of Keeper of Elysium and all that that position holds. The bookstore is to remain Elysium and holds all traditions there of. Understand that the tradition of Elysium is older than the very sects which we serve and none may breech this sacred rite, not even in the face of war. Any who step within the walls of this hallowed ground are considered safe and should remain so as they come and as they leave. To violate this, is to violate an edict as old as memory. The punishment of such a violation is death.
2. Annora of Clan Gangrel has been placed as Seneschal of the Domain of Waterloo and to be Prince Ujio's right hand moving forward.
3. Altaryn Talos as been officially released and to be considered a full member of the Ivory Tower, including all rights and responsibilities found therein. He has been acknowledged by the Prince and accepted within its membership.
4. Altaryn Talos has been placed within the position of Sherriff. 

The technology ban has been clarified as such:

Technology may be utilized for all affairs mundane in nature. Whether these affairs are illegal or not matters little to the Prince, it will be left to you to ensure that your actions are held to the strictest levels of confidence in order to avoid causing any undue threat to yourselves and by extension the domain. Technology should not be seen as the enemy but it should be heavily scrutinized and if you are not absolutely certain of your ability to manipulate said technology then it will be your responsibility to ensure that you have someone skilled enough to do so for you. Failure to ensure this will be dealt with in the same manner as a violation of the first tradition. So that there is no confusion, a violation of the First Tradition which places the domain in danger or places others and by extension the domain in danger will be met with death. Let there be no confusion pertaining to this edict moving forward.

Leliel has made it clear that messages may be left with the staff of the bookstore. If you are in need for them to find someone for a priority message, they can be hired to do so, so long as they are not placed within harms way or harm done to them. Her revenants are not to be treated as kine.

Sabbat information shared by Prince Ujio:

1. Currently the Camarilla does not hold the numbers for an assault upon Toronto or it's immediate suburbs. This is to include skirmishes or individual incursions.
2. There are four known organized packs at this time. Two of which hold the downtown core, however their tight spacing suggests more within the area. Another pack is located at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. This location holds a great deal of wraiths, specters and the like. The Church of Caine resides in this location and are gaining converts from the homeless and those that gravitated towards such scenes as they are providing food, clothing and shelter. The disenfranchised youth have also taken to this organization in large numbers as well. Lastly there is a pack that roams near the Professor's University area. While not specifically in his territory.
3. Of special note within the downtown core there are packmates that bare the sigels of the sun of some kind and tend to stay very close to mortals within the club going populations as if guarding their feeding grounds exclusively. When the mortals move, they move and when the mortals are not present or out on the streets they too are not present. There is a connection of some kind behind how this particular pack operates as if using the mortals as a smokescreen of some sort. Jules made note that the symbol appears to be a modified Eye of Ra, a symbol often associated with heat, fire and the sun. This symbol can be considered protective in a couple of ways. She suggested that they are not wearing it for only a pack symbology.
4. In relation to the Professor, so long as this individual claims membership among the Sabbat and is only interested in maintaining their territory then they remain the enemy. There will be no further meetings, discussions or dealings with him. If this continues it will be considered treason in war time.

Leliel has made mention that the Cemetery is not a casual location to go to at all. The dead are very active and very much able and willing to engage and cause harm. Most of them are very restless.

Second Inquisition information:

This enemy is, in fact, a threat. However, it should be noted that this particular threat can and will be able to strike from any angle and at any time. They are not only sanctioned and backed by the church in many instances, but they are also backed and financed by various governmental agencies. Now, if you should run into any of these hunters you should not, under any circumstances turn yourselves in, just as you should not allow yourselves to be taken.

"Now then the second inquisition is the reason for this technology ban and they are also the reason why we must absolutely be vigilant about our adherence to the first tradition. I recognize that tonight likely has sounded like a great deal of threats and dark tidings but I assure you that these pronouncements, edicts, and guiding principles are in place, and being managed by those in a position to do so. It is also imperative that if you find something suspicious or something that you feel you have information on, that you speak with the sheriff as soon as you can. A method that will be sorely needed in these coming nights will be those with abilities that will lend towards finding, tracking, observing, discovering, and potentially manipulating these hunters to our own ends. As it stands they are also the enemy of our enemy so it is possible that this can be a tool to be exploited on that front as well.
